Even without checking the dihedral angles explicitely it is obvious that the relevant angle of cubpy is smaller than that of a squippy and that the other relevant angles in this blend with the prism of waco would be the same as those of waco itself. But as waco can be blended with a squippy, then resulting in auwaco, the here to be considered blend within the next dimension indeed exists.
